Tastier tomatoes? In the EvaCube!

Users of EVACUBE report that tomatoes are tastier when stored in the EVACUBE rather than in the refrigerator. After examining the subject, we have found evidence that indeed tomatoes lose flavours when chilled below 12oC. One study by the University of Florida under the title “Chilling-induced tomato flavor loss is associated with altered volatile synthesis and transient changes in DNA methylation” explains the mechanism why this happens.
